We can help you obtain your Romanian certificate of celibacy (also known as single status certificate or bachelorhood certificate) or in the shortest possible time. The entire procedure by which you authorize us to represent you in Romania to request and obtain/collect your certificate of celibacy from the civil registry office is carried out exclusively remotely (communicating with you by e-mail, telephone/Whatsapp), so that you do not have to make unnecessary trips.

We will take care of the entire procedure of applying for and obtaining your certificate of celibacy from the competent authority in Romania on your behalf. For this purpose, the person authorized by you (the lawyer) will go in person to the Romanian civil registry office, where he will apply for and obtain the certificate of celibacy (single status certificate / bachelorhood certificate), which will be issued in physical form, printed on paper.

Therefore, the certificate of celibacy is not issued in electronic format (it will not have an electronic signature applied to it), but will be issued in physical format, printed on paper, in Romanian language, with the handwritten signature and ink stamp of the issuing authority (the Romanian civil registry office).

In addition, once the certificate of celibacy has been obtained, we can carry out the following procedures, depending on your requirements:

- we can apply for and obtain the Hague Apostille on the certificate of celibacy (if the country in which you are to use the certificate of celibacy is a member country of the Hague Convention - Convention de la Haye du 5 octobre 1961 - and you are required to obtain the Apostille)

- we can take care of the consular attestation of your certificate of celibacy (if the country in which you are going use the certificate of celibacy if is not a member country of the Hague Convention). The consular attestation procedure is more complex and involves obtaining several stamps from institutions such as the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassies (such as the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Romania, Embassy of Qatar in Romania, etc.)

- we can take care of the translation of the certificate of celibacy – done by a translator licensed by the Romanian Ministry of Justice, notarization of the translation and obtaining the Hague Apostille on the notarized translation or consular attestation of the notarized translation, depending on your requirements.

The certificate of celibacy thus obtained (and possibly with the Hague Apostille affixed on it and its notarized translation) can be sent by courier or by registred post (at the client's expense) to the address (abroad or in Romania) indicated.
